Silicon Milkround Comes To Cambridge

Silicon Milkround Cambridge
After the success of the Silicon Milkroundabout which pairs developers and engineers – both established and those straight out of university – with startups in need of talent in London, a similar event is being held in Cambridge at the end of the month called simply Silicon Milkround Cambridge (twitter/facebook).

Cambridge has long held an important position in the technology space with its biotech cluster and large technology firms like Autonomy, the prestigious university also provides a wealth of talent – but more startups are what are needed to get the economy going again. Silicon Milkround aims to raise awareness within the developer community of the possibilities outside the corporate world of banking and big engineering companies.

Why join a start-up? Because you can influence how the company and product develops, because small highly talented teams means working closer as a group, and because you will be personally involved in the exciting highs and lows of the roller-coaster ride that is starting up a company.

Some of the companies looking for developers and engineers to join their dynamic teams include SongKick, Metail, Viagogo, SwiftKey, CSS, Knowledge Transmission, and many others.

Interested? Silicon Milkround Cambridge will take place between 2-6pm on 28th April at The University Arms Hotel
